Distance Education Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya is popularly known as DAVDE or DAVV. This institution, also known as Indore University, was established in 1964. It is a public university located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The university recently completed its 50-year commitment to establishment, service and education. This DAVV university has recently been awarded A certificate by NAAC.
Indore is the most industrially developed district of Madhya Pradesh. The university caters to the manpower needs of various industries and provides quality education to students across the state.
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya has been ranked 101-150 in the University (Overall) category of NIRF Ranking 2023. Indore-based DAVV has also launched self-reliance courses in the country. Out of 37 schools and study centers, 20 schools offer courses independently. Each year, the university provides education to about 10,500 students enrolled in regular courses and about 1,000 students in distance learning mode.
